Spicy King Wings

  • 1 lb. chicken wings
  • 1/2 cup Chicken Fry
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • Oil for fryer
  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 1 cup REX Louisiana Red Hot Sauce
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 Tbs. REX Whole Sweet Basil
  • 1 Tbs. REX Creole Mustard
  • 1 Tbs. Lemon Pepper
  • 1 tsp. Garlic Puree
  • 1 tsp. Paprika
  • 1 tsp. REX Cayenne Pepper
Set deep fryer to 350. Combine Chicken Fry and flour in large bowl and roll wings in mixture. Fry for 3-5 minutes. Remove and set aside on a baking sheet. Cut butter into 1/2" pieces and set aside. In a saute pan, heat all other ingredients, except butter. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Slowly whip butter pieces one at a time until dissolved. Pour sauce over wings, reserving some sauce for dipping. May be served with a medley of cut vegetables ( cucumbers, carrots, celery) and bleu cheese dressing.
